the fact i’m seeing reblogs slow down despite the fact there is still news breaking is concerning

Charda Gregory abducted, humiliated, violated, restrained, scalped and tortured.
If this were reversed, with black police officers who were sworn to uphold peace and justice but instead were documented victimizing a white woman (who was already a victim), this news would have trumped the Olympics!

Truncated version: drugged at a party, abducted to a motel, wakes up during unwanted sexual violation in a motel room full of strangers, fights like hell to escape, motel employee calls the authorities, she gets arrested for destroying motel property and it just gets worst from there.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IoBLolqUaNg

Every officer who participated in it and even those who witnessed it and did nothing should be punished but instead they just fired the woman?
No rape kit, no police report on the people inside the motel room, no investigation of her claims, no accountability for missing motel entry records, no video from the motel but she gets detained for fourteen days?

(Btw, when did your tax dollars begin purchasing Abu Ghraib type water boarding chairs?)

I can’t ever forget this story - the haunted humiliated look on her face is imprinted on my memory for all time ..   Smh

This level of conflict of interest is massively unsurprising.

This is horrifying. The worst of Chicago politics migrated south to St. Louis.

Extremely. While we think of Chicago and New York as the most corrupt, we tend to forget our own local politics. This problem is wide spread in every city/county/state.

There is no way to escape it until we all become aware of this problem. And then when we are aware, we have to organize and attack the problem by its roots.

This is really important. My SO was telling me about a Detroit cop that got relieved of duty after too many instances of police brutality. Sent that nigga right over to Royal Oak, he’s still allowed to walk around with a gun a few miles away.

Cop Mistakes Black Oakland Firefighter For Burglar, Draws Weapon On Man And His Kids

I guess this black firefighter isn’t going to need to have the talk with his kids, since they got to experience firsthand what it’s like for cops to make a snap decision about you based on race.

CBS KPIX5:

It was 10:45 p.m., after a recent Raiders game. Veteran firefighter Keith Jones and his two sons, ages 9 and 12, were walking back to their SUV at Station 29. A fire crew responding to an emergency had forgotten to close the garage door. Jones went in to make sure everything was secure.

As Jones walked out, he said a police officer, responding to a possible burglary in progress, yelled “Don’t move, put your hands up.”

“And his hand is on his gun. He was crouched, he was low, and he was basically in a shooting stance,” Jones said.

Jones complied, but noticed his 9-year-old son Trevon was starting to cry. The officer saw the two kids first and had already told them to raise their hands.

Jones said he told the officer that he was an Oakland firefighter, that he worked at the station and that they were his kids. He asked the officer to allow his kids to lower their hands and tell them everything is OK. Jones said the officer told them to keep their hands up and not to move.

The firefighter said this lasted for a few minutes.

“I’m pretty much thinking he’s going to pretty much shoot me,” Jones said.

“I was thinking is he going to shoot my dad the whole time,” said 12-year-old Keith Jones II.

“I was getting ready about to cry. My hands started to get tired, but I kept them up,” said 9-year-old Trevon Jones.

DECATUR, Ga. — Police are searching for suspects in a deadly Decatur kidnapping.

Authorities say a man and a woman were kidnapped early Saturday morning and found just a few hours later handcuffed and each shot in the head. Their families have pulled together a $15,000 reward for anyone who can tell them who did it.

The family says Jeronta Brown and his fiance, Briana Brooks, took their 8-month-old baby and 14-year-old niece out for a meal. When they got back to their Decatur home, several men jumped them.

The children were able to get away, but Brown and Brooks were put into the back of a van.

Brown’s aunt, Myesha Brown, said the men tried to get inside the house before leaving.

"The guys walked up, started ringing on the doorbell, beating on the door, yelling, ‘FBI, FBI,’" Brown said.

Instead of opening the door, Brown said they called 911. Police did show up, but Brown said they didn’t take the kidnapping seriously.

"We were unable to get the kidnappers what they wanted due to Dekalb County thinking that this was a joke, this was something Jeronta set up," she said.

Brown said a family member got a call shortly after the kidnappers took off, demanding $150,000.

By daybreak, a driver 17 miles away in northwest Atlanta spotted Brooks and Brown lying in the street.

Jerota Brown was dead. Brooks, seven months pregnant with the couple’s second child, was alive. Doctors were able to deliver the baby girl by C-section. Brown says the infant is doing fine, but Brooks’ condition remains uncertain.

DeKalb County police were unavailable to talk about the crime and their response to it because of the holiday weekend.

Useful for cosplay AND if you’re applying for a job that views tattoos as ‘unprofessional’.

Also good for hickeys

This just seems useful for any purpose so here you go

Reasons to marry me: We'd eat pizza and listen to good music together and we'd probably fuck 14 times a week and buy too many pets and build pillow forts.
